The chestnut wood, the green lung of Basilicata in Trecchina

Just before the Apennine mountains, going down towards the rocky coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the village of Trecchina rises. The small town in the province of Potenza is surrounded by woods of chestnut trees, one of the green lungs of Basilicata, whose delicious fruits are one of the main winter flavors and smells of the country.
